I shot this image behind the Guatemala Cafe at 1024 West Wilson. The lady was the owner. She ran the restaurant with her daughter and son in law. The children were her grandkids. I think every young boy who had an older, protective sister had a hug like this at one time. The young girl was so intent on showing that she loved her brother that she almost sprained his neck. Luckily, her brother survived the hug. This family was one of the most welcoming that I met during my four years of photographing in Uptown. Even though their restaurant was modest, their hospitality was outstanding.
