On December 27th, 1975, I photographed this man who was part of the old Bisset’s Department store demotion on the southeast corner of Wilson and Broadway. He is preparing some cutting torches to help cut through some steel beams. In the background you can see the building that used to be on the northeast corner of Wilson and Kenmore. I believe this was the office building at 1024 West Wilson that housed the Indian Employment Agency on the second floor. The building was surrounded by scaffolding. It may have been undergoing painting, remodeling or demolition itself. My notes don’t say. If someone knows, please contact me.
