I took this shot in the spring of 1976 near Winthrop and Ainslie. That part of Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood was dominated by Latin King’s at the time, as you can see from the three pointed crown above the boy’s head. This bored young man had three or four friends. They were roaming the neighborhood together looking for things to do when I provided their entertainment for the day.
