This man was attacked by teenagers who smashed a beer bottle against his head and tried to light him on fire. Luckily, he survived, but probably never fell asleep on a park bench again. I took several shots of this man. This was one of the wider shots, taken with a 35 mm lens. The tattoo on his arm says, “Carolyn.” Without the stitches, he could have doubled for the Marlboro Man.
