This woman appeared to be about four and a half feet tall, if that much. She allowed me to take several shots of her. Her dog, however, had other ideas. It kept growling at me and getting in the way. Finally, she yanked it back. It sat down and I got a clear shot of her. There are many types of dwarfs. The term used to be applied to small people (adults under 4’10”) with disproportionate features. Midget was the term reserved for dwarfs with proportionate features, however, that term has fallen into disfavor and is now considered pejorative.
