This poor kids looked like he had just been in a fight. He had a lump on his forehead, a cut on his nose and a fat lip. I didn’t have the heart to ask him who won. He didn’t look very happy. Many kids in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood learned at a young age that if they didn’t stand their ground, they could become the target of bullies. Perhaps that is what happened in this case.
