These two teens went by the street names of Drifter and Hound Dog. They were members of the Gaylord gang which operated out of the southern part of Uptown during the 1970s, around Sunnyside, where I took this photo. The Gaylords during this era were not as visible as the Latin Kings and Harrison Gents which seemed to have graffiti everywhere. Note the condition of this apartment building with the missing glass in the front door.
