Occasionally, when I encounter people and ask whether I can take their picture, they assume a pose like a fashion model. This older woman was one of them. She was returning home from a shopping trip. She seemed genuinely happy and flattered that someone cared enough to take her picture. I felt this often in Uptown. Most of these people were ignored by society. Many felt invisible to rest of the world.
