This young boy had been wrestling in this sandlot with several of his friends. When I asked if I could take his picture, he stood up and tried to straighten his clothes by tugging on his pants which were starting to fall down over his narrow hips. Every time I walked down a street in Uptown during the middle part of the 1970s, I would stumble across scenes like this.
