I found this kind, gentle, happy hydrocephalic man standing in front of an old run-down apartment house in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. I believe the building was some kind of a halfway house. The enlarged skull comes from a condition known as hydrocephalus. Compression of the brain by accumulating fluid eventually may cause neurological symptoms such as convulsions, mental retardation and epileptic seizures.
