These two people hung out a lot near the corner of Winthrop and Ainslie in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood during the mid-1970s. He was a Latin King. I photographed her several times in front of Harrison Gents graffiti. She was usually happy, upbeat and energetic. I’m not sure why she seemed so down on this day. Perhaps she and he were having words and I interrupted them. If anyone knows what happened to these two, please let me know so that I can update the caption.
