This young man went by the street name of Cello. He seemed very easy going by Latin King standards. He loved to play pinball in the grocery store that used to be on the corner of Winthrop and Ainslie in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood in the mid-1970s. As I was photographing him on this day, I commented that he seemed more reserved than the other Kings. He casually pulled out this gun and smiled at me.
