The day was December 26, 1975. The Blue Oyster Cult and Ted Nugent were playing at the Aragon later that day. Teenagers lined up for blocks in the freezing weather to get good seats. Here is the crowd around 10 in the morning. Many had stood in line all night and it would be hours more before they were let into the Aragon. Bladder control became a real issue at times like these. Once you stepped out of the line, the bouncers would usually not let you back in. I talked to one regular at the Aragon, however, who befriended the bouncers (with coin). They would let him rejoin the line if the crowd was under control.
