Taken in Padre Island National Seashore just south of Corpus Christi, Texas. I watched this gull struggling to lift a fish almost as big as it was. Finally, a wave lifted the fish high enough for the gull to get its beak around the head. Then it slowly swallowed the fish for the next five minutes and flew off.
