This is another of about 40 photos that I took of a Hungarian family at 1248 Wilson on Christmas Day of 1974. I took several shots of small groups, then a shot of all the brothers and sisters together, then the boys wanted to demonstrate their martial arts skills for the camera – that’s why I call this photo “Martial Arts Christmas.” The oldest brother showed off his strength by hoisting one brother while attempting to put another in a headlock. They had lots of energy to burn off. They were stuck inside because of the freezing temperatures outside, but sadly, I didn’t notice any toys in the apartment.
