This one legged Jehovah’s Witness was standing outside of a Walgreen’s at Sheridan and Broadway in Chicago’s Uptown Neighborhood. This photo was taken two days after Christmas in 1975. The man is holding up Watchtower magazine. Its cover read, “Stop the Persecution of Christians in Malawi.” When people would stop to ask him what the protest was about, he would give them a copy of the magazine which is a Jehovah’s Witness publication.
