In Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, this pinball machine sat in the corner of a little bodega near the corner of Winthrop and Ainslie in 1975. The Latin Kings who hung out near this corner used to love to play the machine. Pinball machines were largely killed off by the advent of video games; I miss them. They had a feel that video games just can’t match.
