On a cold January morning in 1975, I found these kids on their way to church with their father (not shown), dressed in their Sunday best. Their coats look like they were overwhelming them. They certainly weren’t going to feel cold despite the snow that was starting to fall. They might look like they were bundled in jackets, but they were bundled in love. Every time I look at this shot, it reminds me how parents can make such a difference in kid’s lives. These two would be in their forties now. If someone knows what happened to them, please contact me so that I can update this caption.
