All of these teenagers were siblings who lived on Winthrop. The notes on my contact sheet say, “One a King, One a Gent, One a Girl.” The teenager on the left was a Latin King who went by the name “Sir Crazy Man.” The one on the right was a Harrison Gent. Note the difference in the hand positions used to signify which gang they were affiliated with. The Gents and Kings were friendly with each other back in those days.

I received a note from the widow of Sir Crazy Man through this site. She said that he eventually left the gang, married, moved to Alabama, had kids and died in 2004. My guess is that he would have been in his late forties at that point.
