Shortly after I photographed the two TJOs (Thorndale Jagoffs) in the previous two pictures, they walked over to this Latin Kings’ mural at the corner of Winthrop and Ainslie in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. They then unzipped their flies and urinated on the Latin Kings’ mural in retaliation for the theft of their car battery by the Latin Kings.  The year was 1976, in the week before the bi-centennial. No Latin Kings were present during the offensive and the incident went unnoticed. The TJOs returned to their car, laughing and happy, and went back to Edgewater.
