This man had a small tobacco farm near Cosby, Tennessee in 1973. He had built his home, barn, tool shed and drying shed by himself, by hand, using nothing but an axe and the trees on his property. He lived in a one room house with his wife. The house did not have electricity, running water or indoor plumbing.
