In February of 1976, when I filmed this housing protest in front of Harry Truman College, most news crews still used film. Videotape was still a rarity in the field. But the VHS format introduced that year would bring the benefits of tape to the masses. I’m not sure what tape format this crew was using or whom them represented. The ONE on the camera probably stands for Organization of the Northeast which organized the rally. Channel ONE didn’t get started until 1989.
