I photographed these four young toughs near the ‘L’ at Sheridan south of Irving Park on February 14, 1976. As soon as I started focusing my Rollei, the one on the left flashed a gang sign that I don’t recognize. If someone knows which this signifies, please let me know so that I can update the caption. You can see the reflection of the ‘L’ platform in the window on the right so this must have been taken on the north side of the street. It also appears that there is a reflection of a Shell gasoline station which I don’t see in Google Maps street view today.
