Even though Wrigley isn’t in Uptown proper, many people from Uptown worked and enjoyed games here. It was an easy stroll (for a young person), from the southern parts of Uptown. I took this shot of the Chicago Near North Skyline at the Cubs/Astros Game on August 23 of 1975 from the upper deck at Wrigley Field. The Cubs lost the game 14-12, but I got a series of shots of the entire surrounding skyline of the City, including this one of the Near North. The notes attached to my contact sheet indicate this is Lakeville and Newtown.
