In 1973, Cosby, Tennessee consisted of a few homes, a gas station/repair shop, a motel and a cafe. Cosby lies at the northwestern edge of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, far from the hustle and bustle of tourists in Gatlinburg (the park’s main gateway). This was the crew that manned the gas station/repair shop. They fixed anything that had a motor.
